About Circle-Wise
Circle-Wise is devoted to cultivating Wonder, Insight, Self-Care & Engagement
through workshops, reflective support & consultation.
I'm Sarah Daffron, facilitator and consultant for Circle-Wise LLC.
Having worked in the fields of mental health, education, and social advocacy for the past 20+ years, I have been blessed with numerous opportunities to connect with others as a therapist, educator, trainer, supervisor, and clinical director.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master's degree in Counseling and a Bachelor's degree in Cultural Anthropology/Women's Studies. In addition to working with adults, adolescents, and children, I have specialized training & experience in Infant-Toddler Mental Health, which has shaped my attachment-focused framework with all individuals.
My Approach:
As a parent myself, I recognize that parenting can be both frustrating and rewarding. I am a mother to two teenagers, a role that continues to push me, pull me, challenge me, and bring me joy. As a facilitator of this course, my approach is to support the inherent wisdom and expertise of each parent/caregiver. There is no such thing as a "perfect parent". Our children simply need us to be committed to their security. Our effectiveness in doing so will naturally shift and change and progress over time- through various stages of our child's development, through changing circumstances in our family's lives, and through our own growth and self-awareness as humans.
Through my training and experience as a registered Circle of Security Parenting facilitator, I am continually reminded that this parenting journey is not linear and there is never a clearly marked path.
By developing our attunement, acknowledging our blind spots and imperfection as parents, and choosing to strive toward a more balanced response to our child, we are better able to navigate our way, using Relationship as the compass.
